ProjectsPerren Street, Kentish Town -Workshops, Housing Design This project concerns an extension to a group of warehouses in a conservation area, used as sculptors' studios and ancillary residential accommodation. The design re-uses the Victorian building and perimeter walls, whilst the new buildings enclose a courtyard at first floor level. The scheme provides two new flats, enlarged living and workshop areas and a new entrance. The rear block is clad in black polished blockwork and provides a striking elevation to the elevated railway line. Project Details (PDF - 2,400kb) Read articles about this property. Photography work for this project was done by Tim Crocker. |
