Bletchley Park was the historic centre of secret British codebreaking activities during WWII and the birthplace of the modern computer.
Following a two-stage competition we were appointed as masterplan and conservation architects in support of an application for Heritage Lottery funds.
Our masterplan proposals included a strategy for the phased redevelopment of the historic listed buildings to accommodate the museum and to interpret the buildings and their role in the codebreaking operations.
Our conservation work included a thorough appraisal of the history and fabric of the huts and blast walls and restoration to their wartime character and condition to facilitate their interpretation.
