The project was prompted by subsidence, which required structural underpinning of the foundations. As this work would cause major disruption the owner decided to vacate the property and excavate a new basement in parallel with the underpinning works.
We prepared designs to extend into the rear garden at basement level to create two large flats with courtyards. We also proposed to extend the property at ground floor level.
Our client sold the property in 2009 after planning consent was granted by London Borough of Camden.
